Junction One Backs Marie Curie
During the upcoming festive season Marie Curie Nurse of the Year Gladys Brownlee (right) and a team of up to 200 community nurses will be providing vital care for cancer patients and their families throughout Northern Ireland with the help of brand new retail partner Junction One International Outlet Shopping Centre. The discount shopping complex has adopted Marie Curie Cancer Care as its Charity of the Year and aims to raise £15 000 to support the organisation’s community nursing programme provincewide. Junction One charities co-ordinator Anne McLarnon (pictured left) said the centre was looking forward to organising a fun-packed programme of events and generating much needed funds to help cancer sufferers and their families enjoy a comfortable family Christmas at home.
