Junction One Backs International Toddsleap.com Ulster Rally
Junction One is set to play a major role in this year's Toddsleap.com Ulster Rally which takes place on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd August. Junction One's extensive car parks will host the event's Central Service Park so rallying fans can meet the drivers and co-drivers, crew teams and see the cars close up before heading out to the circuit to watch the race. Junction One's Holiday Inn Express is Ulster Rally's HQ. Said Leona Barr, Junction One's centre manager, "We're delighted to welcome Ulster Rally to Antrim and look forward to visitors coming from the UK and further afield during Rally Week-end this August."
Ulster Rally returns to the Antrim area for the first time in over 20 years and this year's event takes place over 127 competitive miles in the Antrim and Mid-Ulster regions.

Junction One and the RNLI
Junction One and RNLI joined forces and over an 18 month period from November 2008 until April 2009 and raised a massive £35,000 for RNLI's Train One Save Many campaign and the Portaferry Boathouse Appeal.
To celebrate the partnership Junction One Charities Co-ordinator Anne McLarnon was presented with a special RNLI Regional Award at a ceremony held at Queen's University Belfast on 21st May 2009 where high profile singer/songwriter Phil Coulter was guest of honour.
Junction One Backs BT Women of the Year awards
Olympian Wendy Houvenaghel, from Maghera was named BT Sportswoman of the Year 2008 sponsored by Junction One at the Belfast Telegraph Woman of the Year Awards, in association with Spar. Wendy who began her career at quite a late stage has achieved tremendous success since she began competing in 2002. Following successes including the World Track Cup title she won the silver medal in the women's 300m pursuit at this year's Beijing Olympics.
Wendy's sister Janice McGeagh is pictured receiving the award on behalf of Wendy from Leona Barr Centre Manager of category sponsors Junction One International Outlet Shopping Centre. The awards which are in their second year brought together an array of exceptional women from across Northern Ireland, at a glittering gala ceremony in the Ramada Hotel Belfast, to celebrate the achievements of all nominees and recognise the inspirational winners.
