Denby continues to be a fashionable brand with Northern Ireland customers of all ages and I’m confident it will perform extremely well.”
Sue McIntosh, Head of Retail at Denby, said, “During this our bicentenary year we’re thrilled to open our first outlet store in Ireland at Junction One augmenting our growing portfolio of UK outlet stores. Since opening in May 2004 Junction One has demonstrated consistent growth, impressive trading sales and increased footfall and we felt it was the perfect location to launch our Denby outlet range. As part of our UK wide bicentenary celebrations, a special collection of limited edition pieces will also be available at the Junction One store and from 26th June to 2nd July a week long series of special customer offers will mark this landmark occasion in Denby’s history.”

A piece of Denby Pottery is designated a ‘second’ when the surface or glaze colour varies from the standard – but in every other respect Denby seconds are as durable and versatile as best quality and can be used in the same way in the microwave, dishwasher, oven or freezer.

Denby History
The Denby Pottery is located on the site of the original clay bed. The Pottery was founded by the Bourne family in 1809. You would be forgiven for thinking Denby Pottery has always produced tableware, but in fact it has produced all manner of ceramic items from ink bottles, hot water bottles, fine artware pieces to the well known and loved tableware of today. Denby has a fascinating history which is being marked by celebrations across the Outlet Stores and at the Denby Visitor Centre between 26th June to 2nd July. See www.denbyvisitorcentre.co.uk
