Homeless Charity Set to Benefit from BOSE Xmas Initiative
15 November 2005

Music and home entertainment specialists BOSE® at Junction One has partnered with the Simon Community Northern Ireland to launch a very special Christmas campaign.

The “BOSE® Christmas Trade-In” will generate much needed funds and equipment for Simon Community projects throughout Northern Ireland.  From now until 31st January the public can trade in their current DVD and CD players, CDs and radios or make a cash donation to the Simon Community and save up to £350 on top of the range BOSE® home entertainment and music systems.  The equipment will then be safety (PAT) tested by Junction One  Stothers M&E, and distributed to Simon Community projects early in the New Year.

Backing the campaign Simon Community Fundraising Manager Tracy McAfee said: “Simon Community are delighted that Bose® at Junction One have agreed to support our charity. This initiative will certainly be appreciated by homeless people who are supported by Simon Community.”

Kirsty Gordon, BOSE® store manager at Junction One said the company was pleased to be able to make a small contribution to help alleviate the homeless situation in Northern Ireland.  “We’re looking forward to seeing all the music and DVD equipment in situ next year and hope Simon Community service users will feel it’s added a more homely and comfortable touch to their temporary accommodation.”
