Junction One Backs BT Woman Awards 2009
Junction One is again backing the Belfast Telegraph’s highly successful BT Woman Awards with support for the Sportswoman of the Year category. Last year this trophy was presented to Olympic cyclist Wendy Houvenaghel. Leona Barr, Junction One’s centre manager said, “Last year’s event was truly inspirational and rewarded women from all walks of life and Junction One is delighted to once again sponsor the Sportswomen of the Year category. Last year’s winner Wendy has undoubtedly inspired lots of us to get on our bikes and check out the many dedicated cycle paths and explore the countryside around us. I’m sure she’ll perform superbly at the upcoming London 2012 games. The BT Woman of the Year Awards will be held at the Ramada Hotel, Belfast on 4th November.
